 Who are Friends? What do Real Friends Do?

Brainstorming traits of friends, exploring what support real friends provide.

This segment uses Socratic questioning to have students agree among themselves that a real friend will give advice when it is needed. At this age they will only rarely list this as a trait by themselves, yet do agree about it once elaborated upon. Of course that agreement usually drains the room of any will to proceed. That’s why facilitators need to congratulate them for getting to that awareness and begin directly moving into Unis 6.
