Peace Building, Leadership & Conflict Resolution

Build Teams of Peer to Peer Mediators
Peace Patrol using peer mediation to solve conflicts more quickly – while teaching leadership skills to each participant. The 1WOW event has often been used in kick-starting student or boosting such programs at a school.

It is one thing to say that conflict resolution training can help avoid the degree of conflict at a school, but how is it implemented? One group we’ve worked with is PEACE PATROL/ a.k.a. Interactions For PEACE

Build Teams of Peer to Peer Mediators

Interactions for Peace© educates and creates lifelong peaceful problem solvers.

A complete curriculum and range of developmentally appropriate programs help develop self-awareness and confidence, cooperation, communication, and conflict resolution skills. We help to create the environment and culture where all are included and treated with dignity and respect.

I am sure that there are other wonderful programs that are effectively assisting the development of peer-to-peer mediators in schools. I’d love to see your referrals and add more options to the site readers. The ideal way now to add suggestions is under the menu page by that name.

Mission:

Educate youth. Show them the world, and how to live in it at peace.

We developed this material to train people in achieving these skills through interactive, experiential learning programs.

Explore our site to see how so much can be accomplished in only 2-Hrs of student time.

Being an experiential approach, its impact relies on reaching entire peer groups of students quickly (minimally 100 students at a time). Reaching everyone at a school requires a collaboration of a presenter with adults from the school's regular support community.
